    Keynote Speaker:
    Maxine Gullo, HR Director for City of Carmel: BUILDING YOUR BRAND

    Maxine Gullo is the Human Resources Director for the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea.  She is a public sector professional with a Bachelor’s degree and almost 20 years of local government experience.  She has worked for the cities of Gilroy, Campbell, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, San Jose, and Fremont. Ms. Gullo’s areas of specialty include recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, payroll and budget.  Ms. Gullo’s professional mission includes a commitment to continuous improvement for the effective, efficient and well-designed delivery of government services through collaboration and technology.  In her previous positions, she was an active member with the Next Generation Initiative in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties and the Leadership Academy of Santa Clara County and Alameda County.  As an avid technology devotee, Ms. Gullo has been on the cutting-edge of using apps and mobile devices to improve work efficiency and information-sharing in her agency and in the region.
